Chris Welsh

Experience 6+ years of training Amateur and Professional Athletes. Raced 7 years on the AMA Professional Motocross and Super cross circuit. Currently an Expert cross country mountain bike competitor.
CEC's ACE certified Personal Trainer, Athletic Performance and USA Certified Cycling Coach AED/CPR Certified.
Training Style I use a wide variety of training methods because every client is different and therefore needs a different program to reach their goals. I am a huge believer in Balance Training.
Why I Train When I was a pro racer I never had a trainer that understood what I was doing and what the mental hurdles of being a pro athlete are. I want to help all my clients realize their true potential and see what they can truly do if they push themselves past those mental barriers.
Words To Live By “What I know today will most likely be wrong tomorrow” These words help me keep an open mind and look at all training methods to learn from and progress in training and in life.

Words To Live By "Winning means you're willing to go longer, work harder, and give more than anyone else."

Alicia Obriecht

Experience I have been training since 2007. I received my bachelors from Central Michigan University in 2010. I worked at a kid’s camp in New York inspiring and educating the effects exercise and a healthy lifestyle can do for the entire mind, body, and spirit. After college, I interned at Fitness Quest 10 in San Diego, CA training and coaching pro athletes, college athletes, kids, and adults. I have been working here in Baltimore since January, 2011.
CEC's PTontheNet, IDEA World Fitness Conference, & BA of Science
Training Style It depends on the individual. I like to keep it FUN! When I can get someone to look forward to coming to train with me then I changed their fitness lifestyle. If they are already self-motivated, I am able to take their level of fitness to the next step.
Why I Train I train because I am passionate about it (I hate that I love it!). I have the best job in the world. Obesity is the silent killer in this world and I want to help cure it. I consider the body one of the best assets in our lives and believe it needs special attention.
Words To Live By "Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try" Make the decision and GET STARTED!!
